Thanks so much for the update! It is so nice to know what is going on. I did hear from him tonight which was wonderful! Don't know how the 21 days without phone calls will be, but at least I know everything is good now, he said he liked it. Even got a picture with the haircut.

FYI Kristymom, yesterday afternoon at the waterfront briefing (Wed 8/1) the NMMI students went out on the Storm http://www.usmma.edu/waterfront/PowerSquadron/storm.htm and had a 3 hour ride around the City (Ellis Iland, etc). :)

Suzannegra...I need to get some lessons from you. You get way more out of your kid than I do. I did not know about the three hour cruise. Keep the news coming.ha ha

Yes, SuzanneGra is amazing at being able to get information, as are many other parents on this forum ! And out of a BOY no less.

I finished up a 3 paragraph email, details from home. Several probing questions. Humor, etc. The sum total of my response from my boy is listted below:
SIZE 11

Not even punctuation!
His Mom and I will start calling him: "Loquacious, of Borg", or "Clam-mouth, the Silent". :p This kid would have a MAGNIFICENT future in CIA/FBI, or Royals Protection.

Was Thurston Howell, III on the three hour cruise? Just curious.

I am also in awe of how much info you can get out of your m/n. I have received the lastest e-mail from mine and you have to read my e-mail to have any idea of what he is talking about.

I'm blessed,,what can I say LOL......or maybe I just know the right qustions to ask. Remember I have a 29 year old in the Navy, so I've had a lot of practice at asking questions!

I REALLY have to meet you parents on PW! I've just discovered this site thanks to kathynp, & I feel i'm just outside Vickery Gate chatting with you in person. WOW, It makes me feel so at ease all the way here in San Diego, CA.
Keep up the info & ProudParent2010, continue the poetic comfort~

Sorry, I meant thanks to Prouddad2010. ....and thanks to Zonker for the race results! WoW! I never got this much photo tracking nor stats when my son was on the HS Lacrosse team and I was team mom! I love the parent commitment and caring across the miles.

Just happenned to look at the NMMI web site. Lots of pics of matriculation! I even found my son twice!
