Prep School College Matriculation - The Last 50 Years

agenwood- because there are limits to how many students a college will accept from one school. I would put the bottom 25% at Andover up against the top 25% of my local public school any day of the week. Did you change your user name recently?

An interesting editorial from the Harvard Crimson

you are unlikely to find much agreement arguing about what a poor choice boarding schools are in a forum for boarding school parents. Your arguments are broad generalizations without thoughtful support. “setting up low expectations for parents who plunk down 200K” and “(students) are not prepared well to be accepted by top schools”

Some might suggest you are a ■■■■■, or at the very least an argumentative poster with little to actually say. I hope I have formed the wrong impression inadvertently, and apologize if that is so. We are interested in thoughtful arguments.

I believe agenwood is a former provoker under a different user name. I think he/she has taken on a new identity.
