Prep School Ranking Game Part Two!

This game was started by browneyedgirl8 a few years ago, so I decided we should play it again:

So I saw this in another post for colleges, and I thought it might be fun... Changed it from colleges to prep schools. As to not cause cause trouble as to what schools to have on the list, I added all schools with less than 40% admission rate from boardingschoolreview.com(a little outdated, but still about right) This is of BOARDING SCHOOLs, not day schools. Also, not military or single-sex schools are on here either.

If you're not familiar with a plus/minus ranking game, here are the rules:

1) You may play once a day (called a 'turn')

2) Each turn, you may add a point to one school, and subtract a point from another. State your changes at the end of the post, and make the change to the actual numbers beside the colleges. Obviously, you should copy and paste the post before you instead of rewriting the entire list.

3) Once a college reaches '0', it is removed from play and given a ranking (ex. 'Peddie is the 23rd ranked boarding school on College Confidential.').

4) When all but one are eliminated, the remaining boarding school is named the winner.

So, do you want to find out where your favorite prep schools stand? YOU decide their fate. Once all the boarding schools have been ranked, I'll post a final list of the rankings.

A little additional info: The prep schools present on the list are those with a less than 40% admission rate and more than 300 students. Yes, I know these rankings aren't necessarily accurate, but I needed a cut-off point (the game wouldn't be any fun if there were too many on the list). If your favorite boarding school isn't included, sorry. I can't please everyone. The single addition and subtraction rule is subject to change, though. Eventually, a few schools will share hundreds of points, and it'll be beneficial to allow posters to subtract two points while only adding one.

You know this is meaningless, right? How many of you have actually visited all of the schools on the list? How are you be qualified to judge them?

Please feel free to go on with your game, but the end result is just going to be that the most famous schools with the best reputation will come out on top.

Its just a fun game to play Rellielou. Sometimes you just need to let loose as some people on CC do not know how to do so. Its just interesting and fun to see what other people add and subtract and it lowers stress believe it or not. Fun. Its a word you need to add to your dictionary.

Sorry for my party pooper attitude. I know you are just trying to have fun.

I am tired of the endless rankings- more related to colleges than prep schools, but it all leaves a bad taste in my mouth. What is a perfect school for one individual may be hell on earth for another. People are different and I am against the idea that one school is “best” for everyone.

Carry on! :)
