Prep school rivalries

There's Andover/Exeter, Deerfield/Choate...what are the other rivalries? Are all the schools in the TSAO rivals with another member? I've been wondering for a while.

Loomis/Kent

Hotchkiss/Taft, I think. Cate/Thacher, MX/Groton, SPS/Groton, Lawrenceville/Peddie, Cranbrook/Detroit Country Day/Greenhills (sorta local for me lol).

Hill/Lawrenceville
Milton/BBN

Grotons main rivalry is with St. Mark's, then Middlesex, then SPS, and then Lawrence Academy, a 50% boarding school in the same town.

Middlesex main rival is St. george's than Groton

Middlesex' biggest rival (by far) is St. George's and vice versa.

Deerfield - Choate is huge.

Kent plays Loomis every year in football for a Silver Spoon.

Gunnery - Canterbury

Holderness - Tabor

Salisbury - Berkshire (Avon?)

Blair's rival is Peddie which is supposed to be the oldest rivalry in NJ.

Salisbury-Avon
Loomis-Kent
Choate-Deerfield

OMG. Lawrence Academy!!! My dad went there!!

It's a beautiful school, just not as rigorous w/ sports, arts, and academics as opposed to the ones mainly dicsussed in this forum.

I thought it was Loomis-NMH (for soccer anyway)

i think we need to start including NYC private college prepatory schools under "prep" schools
so lets see..
in Model UN, Horace Mann vs. Dalton
in sports, Horace Mann vs. Fieldston vs. Riverdale Country

trinity vs dalton
horace mann vs fieldston
marymount vs sacred heart
regis vs....colligate?

Loomis has "Kent Day" each fall -- sort of a homecoming/parent weekend thing where all of the teams play Kent (football for the spoon). I think that is considered the traditional rivalry.

the milton rival is actually nobles

Mercersburg just considers any other MAPL school its rival, although we especially don't like Blair.

i think the hotchkiss/taft rivalry is not as bad as it's used to be..i dunno why...the one with choate is growing tho ..we had choate day for the first time last year when all teams played at choate and we got like 5 fan buses up there (almost the entire school)

Hey dancer, my dad went to Lawrence too!!! Just for a year though. and he got really depressed so he like ... well....

Exeter vs. Andover
Deerfield vs. Choate
Lawrenceville vs. Hill

So there aren't clear-cut archrivals for every school? To add, I think Brooks has a rivalry with the Governor's.
