Someone was asking about this thread in another post so I'm bumping it up. If any of you feel like adding to it, you might help someone applying next year, or the late application period or applicants who were unable to visit the school.

If anyone could do one on Groton or St. Paul's, I'd like that. I'm only able to have phone interviews with them. :(

tommeister wrote a review about St. Paul's.

what's the whale? do they seriously have a statue of a whale or something?

its a real whale skeleton. they found it back in.. 1999 or something. at least thats my tour guide told me. and it hangs on the ceiling.

it was so pretty, wasnt it?
i also loved the library
i liked that the buildings seems so new, and renovated.
its really pretty

BUT NONE OF THE KIDS WERE SMILING!!!!!!
-_- maybe its cuz it was at 8 on a saturday morning...
tell me if u think that students that dont smile are a bad sign...

well, if you were to wake up at about 7:30 on a saturday morning, wouldn't you look a bit on the "i dont want to smile because im so tired" side of yourself? I know I would.

hee hee :D
i drink lots of coffee [maybe thats why im so short . :(]
but at 7:30 id be up and bouncing!!!!

uh..jk :D

i didnt see many people. that is a con.
and not everyone greeted everyone.. meaning wasnt as friendly.
it was a very serious atmosphere

went to andover on a sunday.kids eating breakfast at noon.walking through campus in pajamas.very sad looking group on that day.positive...saw my first Jackson Pollack. Most previous exposure was to 19th & 20th century impressionist ,I suppose they were the Pollacks of 100 years ago.
