Prep School vs. Public

That is truely the bottom line.

Wow, thanks for all the help guys. I haven’t checked CC for a while and I didn’t think this would get so many posts. First of all, thanks everyone! especially taper because his post was the one i was looking for. I’m fortunate to hear from someone who was once in my situation, 2 years in public and (possibly) 2 years in a top boarding school. Your post gives some great insight. I love the fact that there is less busy work in hades, I feel like it’s all pointless after i understand the material here in public :/… anyway I haven’t taken a look at all the posts so i’ll do that now… thank for all your replies!

Tapper’s post on the 1st page really was incredible.

Tennisgeek1: Thanks.

ckdnharvardgirl: Rereading my posts, I think an apology, or at least a clarification is in order. I have a very sarcastic sense of humor, which doesn’t always come across in writing the way I intend. When I said “despite what stressed out future Ivy applicants think” I was poking fun at CC, and I completely failed to make the connection between your username and how that comment might be perceived. It was in no way meant as a personal attack.
