Prep work needed for these three subject tests

Now, that I know a little bit more about these subject tests, I would like to take the following:

1) Math L2 (This one, although it should be the one I take for sure, is one I'm questioning just because I'm not that strong of a math student)
2) Literature
3) Need recommendation on World History VS US History

Now, I'm a sophomore in high school currently, and I am wondering which courses should prepare me adequately for the above subject tests. Next year I am taking the following courses:

1) Honors pre-calculus
2) AP Literature
3) Honors US History

This year however I am taking AP World History, vs my choice of honors for next year.

Do the courses I'm taking look like good review? I'm sure AP Lit will provide sufficient preparation, probably no honors pre-cal though.. Then I have the choice of World vs US History?

Any suggestions?

If you are in Honor Pre-Calc then you should do well on Math 2. That’s basically all it is. US History is pretty straight forward. As long as you have taken AP US History and review, you should do well on that as well.

World history - june?
US history - may/june next year? Or after APush
Math 2 - may/june next year?

AP literature may not fully prepare you for the subject test. Literature is a lot like CR from the SAT 1, only buffed up. Are you an 800 CR student? A student like me, even if I got an A in AP lit and a 5 on the exam, will always fail in CR and anything similar to it…

Cool, so I should probably take it a year from this June like RAlec114 said.

Well… I am taking World History (AP) this year, and I’m taking honors US next year… I might just skip this one, because I’m really not a history kind of guy anyway.

That’s not what I was looking to here. As far as I know, my critical reading was in the 600s…

Oh and I didn’t see that you were looking for books.

Buy CB’s official Math and History books, they have 2 tests for US/World/Math1+2. Those are the best practice. As for content review, no one has really compiled a list of the best books…

OK, but it looks like I’ll be set for math, what about for English, what else should I do other than fully focusing on AP Lit next year?

I never took lit, but everyone says that it’s “CR on steroids.” Take a practice test from CB’s subject test book to see how you’d do; I’m pretty sure that’s the only released exam for lit. The curve for lit is also kind of harsh. Good luck, that’s all I can offer as help…

Thanks! I appreciate the help!
