Ive never taken the ACT before and I'm really not too sure what the questions are like. I signed up for the june SAT and ACT, which are a week apart. Would just studying for the SAT be enough to get me through both exams? I dont want to spend time studying for both when I dont have too....?

math is generally harder b/c it involves up to trig, eng is easier, reading is just different/more comprehensional and there is no science on the sat. the sat is quite different from the act. be sure to look over both.

With the changes in the SAT, I don't think the ACT math is any harder any more.

You should at least take a practice test or two of the ACT just to get time management down. It seems that running out of time is more a problem with this test than with the SAT. (The SAT seems to have trickier questions). It also would be useful to be familiar with the science section.

Basic subject matter beyond science is pretty much the same. My son took the SAT with prep, and then the ACT with very little added prep and did fine. And this was before they changed the SAT, making it more like the ACT (dropping analogies, etc.)

i took the SAT april 1st and the ACT april 8th and it was fine. just use the week wisely.
