<p>Good day friends :). I'm currently taking an Honors Alg. II class on FLVS and will then take Pre-AP (Honors) Pre-Calc as sophomore. However, I'm not sure I'll finish by the start of the school year (which is in about one week!). Just wondering, what are some topics I should glance at to make sure I'm prepared for the first few weeks of Pre-Calc.</p>
<p>I’m actually taking pre-cal online right now, so hopefully I can give you some useful advice!</p>
<p>First off, do not be stressed. If you have a history of doing well in previous math classes, pre-cal shouldn’t be a problem. One thing to consider is whether or not your current Alg II class covers Trig or not. My algebra II class didn’t cover trig, so I’m currently taking pre-cal along with trig. I do know however classmates from different schools who have taken trig with Alg II, so I guess it depends what your personal class structure was like.</p>
<p>As for algebra topics, I would just go over the basics: logs, functions, graphing, etc. Pre-cal essentially is a deeper look into algebra to prepare for AP calculus. </p>

<p>Well, there is no trig in the class I’m taking right now, but I’ve learned some trig with khan academy over the summer :). Hopefully I’ll at least get to logarithms before Pre-Calc. Should I go over conics? Thanks for the help :).</p>
<p>For me, pre-calc was the easiest math class I had ever taken. If you have a decent teacher, you won’t need any review. It’s pretty much just the topics you cover in trig plus a tiny bit extra (not really, some of the sections were monumentally easier).</p>
