Preparing for Business Courses

I have a couple questions about preparing for business courses at colleges:

I'm currently in Beginning Calculus. In a couple weeks, I have to choose whether to continue studying in AP Calc AB. The thing is, I plan to major in Anthroplogy or something in college, with a possible minor in Business.

Should I take the AP? I only want to if it's going to directly help me for colleges. If it can help me get rid of a requirement, that would be great. Does the AP for Calc AB really mean anything though? Don't you cover BC in a full Calc class in college, thus not helping me wave that requirement?

How usefull is a business minor anyway? Is it totally a waste of time?

BTW, I'm specifically looking at USC, NYU, GW, and Wisc-Madison.

Most business schools require introductory calculus, so AB Calc should get you out of a semester.

with anthro. as your major, i don't see the point in minoring in business

i might want to do anthro, i might want to go into real estate business

Whatever you major end (or end up working in) you will likely have a math requirement of some sort, so having Calc will be a huge benefit. You should definitely stay in Calc - whether or not you take AB or BC should really be based on your math ability, not whether you will get credit.
