Preparing for Multivariable Calculus and Linear Algebra

I’m taking Multivariable Calculus and Linear Algebra next and wanted to know how I can be prepared before taking the classes. For reference, I took Calc BC as a sophomore and AP Stats as a junior(wanted a break from math lol). Because of this, I forgot most of the material from BC except for simple derivatives and integrations(yay Physics). Should I review material from Calc BC and if so, what specifically is required for the next set of the classes?

How well did you do in calculus BC and the AP test?

Linear algebra, although typically taken after single variable calculus, does not depend on calculus, although it is different enough that some students find it more difficult (but others find it easier). It may actually be easier to take linear algebra before multivariable calculus, since the latter depends on things like vectors and matricies that are covered extensively in the former, but only briefly covered to the minimally necessary extent in the latter. Perhaps the main reason that students often take multivariable calculus first is that some subjects like physics E&M make use of multivariable calculus, so the student may need to take multivariable calculus as soon as possible as a prerequisite or corequisite.

I had an A in Calc BC the whole year and earned a 5 on the exam. I will definitely check out the link. Thanks!
