I am not an expert on math or writing competitions, but since @teleia addressed math, I would suggest looking into the Scholastic writing competition and the Young Arts program for writing. From what I understand, Scholastic starts local/regional and if you place, you compete at the national level. The criteria for submitting to YAs is very specific, so it is something you’d have to plan and prepare for, but to win YAs at any level is a huge accomplishment.
I think the OP is an international student. I’m not sure if these programs are available to them. Maybe you know?
My daughter loves writing and has submitted a couple of short stories to regional writing competitions organized by regional writer’s clubs and associations (earning awards for some). I only mentioned the mathematical Olympiad as I do not know which country the OP is in and what is available to them (the international competitions are available to all in theory).
