Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone knows of any excellent SAT courses I can take? I would like to focus on math because I'm not the best at it. Please and thanks :]

Generally, I recommend against prep courses if you are aiming for a very high score. Have you read the stickied threads’ advice on individual preparation?

If you just want a 700 something like eprep is fine, but generally a huge waste of money, considering you can just review sparknotes for free. Also, math is very easy to selfstudy.

Hm. I see. I’m very nervous for this exam and I don’t know what to do, honestly. I have a SAT book. But is it enough? All of the counselors are telling my class that prep courses are good. My parents, and a few others are saying no. I’m quite confused. And for me, math is my enemy. I will try self studying, but what if I would like extra help…just in case. What then?

And no, I have not. I’m pretty new here. I’ll check it out.

Which book? You definitely need to get the Official SAT Study Guide.

I disagree, as do almost all high scorers on CC.

I’m using the SAT book from college board. It’s packed with like 10 pre-tests in it. I wanted a DVD but the Barnes n noble didn’t have one at the moment.

What DVD are you talking about?

I have heard that some SAT books come with a DVD.

A DVD of what? :)

^She’s probably talking about the DVDs that come with video tutorials and/or interactive prep softwares

Thank you, crouch88. Lol. And sorry I wasn’t specific, I wasn’t sure what was exactly in them before. Hm do you think it’s a good idea to use my current college board SAT book, finish it, then get another one?
