Hi guys! Okay, so I'm kind of unprepared for the science and math classes at Berkeley (Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Biochemistry, Calculus), and I was wondering: what are some of the supplemental books that may help prepare me for what's ahead? Have you used any great resources that have really helped you through the tough times? Please do share! :)

I haven’t taken any science classes here, but for the math classes, if you’re going to take calc (Math 1a/1b or Math 16a/16b), I would recommend you review your calc notes from high school. Also, if you get AmazonStudent or AmazonPrime and get your book early, look through it. Try to read through some of the earlier chapters so you’re not completely lost. And just because the first few lectures seem really easy, don’t slack off. Math 1a, at least, started picking up its pace after about the 3rd or 4th lecture.

Thanks so much for the tips! After a while, I didn’t expect anyone to post here!

Unfortunately, I haven’t taken Calculus before (only PreCalc), but I am getting a study guide/workbook. Do you think that that will still be helpful?
