preparing for the world history sat subject test

hi
im studying for the december world history sat. so far, ive gone through the kaplan book once and found it useless. im currently working through the barrons book and using the barrons ap world history flash cards. right now, i feel kind of lost because theres so much information to study; it seems to be endless. does anyone have any pointers of specific topics on which to spend the most time preparing? is there anyone who has taken the test and done well who has some tips?

thanks.

does anyone have any advice?

Make sure you understand the major trends of each era in each of the major regions of the world covered in the test.

Yeah, that's good advise. Don't try to remember every detail, if you understand the major trends you can often reason the small details on the test yourself.

ok great, thanks!
