Preparing for the Worst

Hey guys,

First off, want to thank everyone who takes their time to help me in advance. Really appreciate it. I'm a Canadian Citizen attending a community college in the United States (top community college in the state; transfers to Stanford, Duke, Harvard, etc..). Not some online college or anything lol.

In my 2nd year with roughly 89 quarter units completed, 3.84ish GPA (should be around a 3.75 after quarter is done this month). Percentage wise, a 3.75 is roughly a 93% average. Anyways, it's always been my dream to go to McGill. I have already applied to Arts as well as Management, but I am completely aware that transfer students from the US are admitted based on how many admitted high school applicants accept their offer to attend McGill. So basically, all the left over room is for transfer students.

As a US transfer student, I will be notified by May 11th as to whether I got in or not. Now, I'm just preparing for the worst, as I feel it's certainly the best thing I can do at this stage.

Is it any easier to transfer from Concordia (or other colleges in Montreal) to McGill? Any other advice from those of you who have transferred from a Canadian university? Basically trying to see what my options are here.

Thank you!
