<p>Are there are a lot of preppy students at Geneseo?</p>
<p>I always thought there was a good mix of students. Example: At some of the private colleges on Long Island students actually get dressed up to go to school. I never found that to be the case at Geneseo. A hat and sweatshirt was ok when I went to Geneseo unless things have changed significantly.</p>
<p>It is a pretty good mix of students. I would say that styles are less "extreme" at college than in high school, if that makes sense- the majority of students don't sway too much towards any one style (preppy, urban, hipster, etc), but there are representatives of all those groups here. I hope that's what you meant themoops, please let me know if I can clarify...</p>
