Prepping for impending decisions

So, by this time next week, I will look forward to hearing lots of excitement over the news for admissions. One of the most helpful threads ever was this post from astrophysicsmom.

Best of luck to everyone!

I’ve seen some good posts from astrophysics mom, but this one is quite valuable. Thank you, maryversity. Now, as I’m keeping score, who gets the goal and who the assist?

Hi Maryversity,

Just wanted to say your posts have been helpful and calming - I read some of them on the Early Action thread. My oldest S applied to Maryland and we are hopeful he will get in. He has been accepted at several other schools already, but Maryland is definitely one of his top choices. It’s nice to hear some level-headed advice - it’s sometimes hard to stay calm when all the talk is who got in where! I truly think he will be happy going to any of the colleges he applied to, but there are several that he prefers - Maryland being one. Thanks again and good luck to all who applied!

Hi badgerfan - I’m really glad my posts have been helpful! Although, I will tell you my kids don’t think my advice is so calm or level-headed, ha ha. Best of luck…here’s hoping your son’s a Terp!
