PrepScholar

Has anyone tried the PrepScholar ACT preparation package? If so, did it help raise your score?
They say 4+ points guaranteed and I got a 27 on my last ACT, so I’m expecting at least a 31 after trying this program!
However, I would like to hear other stories and if PrepScholar really helped raise your scores?

I’m also interested in any feedback others have. I got a 31 in June and would really like to know if this program delivers on their 4 point guarantee. I would settle for even a couple of points at this stage :slight_smile:

lol same @bridesmaid I’m desperate for a score increase x)

I cannot vouch for the ACT program, but for the SAT program, within 2 weeks my score went up 230 points!

@aznboi4981 thanks for your input! I’m sure if your score went up through the SAT program, then the ACT program will be just as great!

@FailingInLifeSince98 Probably! I am still not even done with the program yet, but I think I will get my score up 300-400 points more. (:

@aznboi4981 wow! Very impressive! Good luck, I wish you the best on your sat!

I took the SAT program last year. I didn’t even spend that much time on it (like 12 hours total) and my score went up from a 2000 to a 2270, with Critical Reading going up from a 630 to an 800.
I may have just gotten a little lucky on the SAT, but it’s still a sizeable increase so I think PrepScholar works.

I just tried to talk to someone via their phone number - I selected 2 as directed to talk to an academic advisor and no one picked up. I called again to make sure it wasn’t just a fluke. Also - when I tried to submit my question online I got a Not Found error.

Why am I mentioning this? If I can’t even reach someone to talk about the program online or via phone when its convenient for me and my family, how can I expect my son to get the right level of support is he uses this program?

I really liked the features and functions of the program but now I am extremely concerned about the support side. Does anyone have any information or feedback on this issue? Is this typical?

I take the ACT for the second time September 12th. Will that be enough time between now and then to finish the PrepScholar ACT course and help get my score up several points? (hoping for 10)

@ZACK2016
Dedicated studying for the next 5 weeks will help your score. Where are you now?

Prep Scholar is one option. Using real tests is another (and free) option.
