I'm currently having some difficulty in choosing my courses for next year (SFS). So far I am planning to take:
Intensive Russian L1
Proseminar*
Political & Social Thought
Microeconomics
?

My first dilemma is whether i should be adding a 5th class. On the sfs 2009 prereg site it says that for course 5 i should take literature or history or free elective. I have credit for literature (5 on English Composition) and first history (4 on World History) and the prereg site advises that i take another core requirement or a free elective. I am wondering whether i should take something like Problem of God as my 5th class, or any other advisable course, or whether i should even take a 5th class at all. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, I'm having trouble deciding which prosem to take. I have it narrowed down between Case Studies: American Foreign Policy (Lake), States, Finance, and the Rise of Global Capitalism (DeSai), Somalia to Iraq: Civil-Military Challenges (Holmes), Oil and the American Century (Painter), and U.S. Intelligence Law (Lotrionte) in no particular order. I've searched RMP and I'm still stuck. They all sound fascinating! If anyone could shed some light on any of these it would be really helpful.

ok, so take problem of god with Ruf or murphy, they are really cool and interesting, and it's not about religion but ratehr about the theory of religion, very interesting. Take Hill for Prosem, it is such a great class, and you might think: Why would I ned to know about Ireland? Because it is one of the 1st ethnic conflicts IN THE MODERN WORLD! And it's still going on! He's a great prof, takes you home for dinner, has movie nights, free food, it's great! Everybodyy who takes that class loves it. I took that class and LOVED IT!

Yeah, I think im only planning on taking 4 classes first semester because I'm taking intensive arabic. So that leaves me with Arabic, Proseminar (US Intelligence Law), Political and Social Thought, and Microeconomics

BTW, has anybody else had problems with their student ID. I've repeatedly tried sending in my schedule through StudentAccess+ and it keeps on telling me that I've entered the last for digits of my Studend ID incorrectly. I wasn't sure what my Student ID # was, but the site says that the number is most frequently the last 4 digits of your SSN, so I keep on plugging that in and it isn't working.
