prereq information

Some of the courses I would like to take has a prereq message that says to contact the department for information. Do I need to make a phone call or email them, or is there some listing on the departments website that would have the prereq infomation for those courses?

Check the course descriptions in the undergrad catalog (https://catalog.ufl.edu/ugrad/current/Pages/course-descriptions.aspx</a>) in the description for the class it should list if there’s any pre-reqs.

I did;however, it says “refer to the department” for the prereq.

oh, weird. What class is it?

SYO4400 medical sociology

Thanks for the help!

Hey are you an incoming freshman?
Cause a 4000 level course is a bit tough for your first semester.

No, I’m a junior transfer.
