Prereqs for Bio 97??

I noticed for some majors like Biomedical engineering and chemistry (with bio conc) it shows in the general catalogue for the schedule planning that they do not need to take bio 93 or 94 in order to take bio 97 and so forth. How is that? I notice for the bio classes it says exceptions may be made for some majors that accept the above courses for degree requirements. In my case as a chemical engineering major. I could uses some bio classes for my technical elective requirement. Will that work?

If so does anyone know if bio 97 use a lot of info from bio 93 and 94?

Thanks in advance.

You will do just fine in bio 97 without 93 or 94. Everything you need to know will be said in lecture and in the textbook.

That is very good to hear. But have you heard of this though? Certain majors skipping 93 and 94?

plenty of chem majors have skipped bio 93/94. im sure a few chem engr majors have as well.

i have a friend who skipped it. as a fifth year chem major, he decided to double bio/chem and had to retake bio 93/94. while all the little freshmen were paying attention, he was writing his microbio lab reports…
