Hey, Im aiming for the Computer science L&S for UC Berkeley. But, CCSF only offers calculus, linear algebra, diff equations, and data structures. But it doesnt offer the rest. Will this affect my chances of admission? Because when I look at the statistics they always say they completed all prereqs. But my school doesnt offer all the prereqs to this major. What should i do?
The page that you posted here says itself:

Those of you who are best prepared, and only need one semester at Berkeley to complete their tech courses, should have completed at least 4 out of these 6 prerequisites.

I am including the articulation from assist.org with your CC. Read it carefully, I found that it addresses all that you need to know:

**Advice regarding courses in computer science:
The Computer Science department at Berkeley recognizes the fact that courses
comparable to Berkeley's computer science 61A-61B-61C series are difficult to
find at most community colleges. With few exceptions, transfer students must
take CS 61A and CS 61C during their first semester/s at Berkeley.

To be competitive for admission purposes, the department advises prospective
transfer students to take UC-transferable courses in:
1) data structures--even if not officially comparable to Berkeley's CS 61B; and
2) Java (preferred) or C++.

The entire Computer Science 61 series is also offered during the Berkeley
summer session. The department recommends that, when possible, students take one
of these courses during the summer sessions prior to transfer.**

I've answered this question many times here and will invariably answer it again. If I were smart, I'd bookmark my answer so I don't have to retype it every time.

Anyway...

I asked your exact question, in person, to a UCB admissions rep who came to do a presentation at my CC. I'm a history major, and my CC offered five of the pre-reqs for Cal (per assist.org). I mentioned to her that other schools like Glendale CC, for example, offered fifteen of the history pre-reqs for Cal.

She told me not to worry, and that the people who score applications will actually pull up assist.org themselves and compare what you did with what was offered at your school.

So if anything, having a small or medium amount of pre-reqs at your CC is probably a good thing, since you are able to get them all done, versus a school that offers an outrageous amount.

Long story short: don't worry.

Would an application get "extra" points if s/he went out of their way to take a class at a college that did offer the prerequisite? ;)

Totally kidding, though.
