Pres/VP of Club

I heard of some people lying about their position in a club because our school doesn't keep a record of these things, and they don't believe colleges will check. What do you guys think about that?

that's BS. most colleges check. even if they don't, U SHOULD NEVER LIE. It's just moral. Besides, what if colleges do check? Then ur screwed...

Moral Shmoral. I say, if you can make sure the college does not check...or even take your GC in your confidence, DO IT. The fact that is that most of people do lie someway or another in their application.

Would you rather go to Harvard or keep your "morals"?

morals are what set us apart from animals. if you lie now and get away with it, what's going to stop you from cheating billions of peple out of their money when you're a successful businessman with an MBA. you'll then get caught, sent to jail. wouldn't you rather get in off your own merit. it's actually an insult to yourself, not the college, when you fake your stats. don't lie.

lol i sound like the Devil talking

i thought opposable thumbs were what set us apart from animals...

yeah! i love my opposabel thumbs

but morals arent that important either

dont lie. UserNizzle has a point. a really good point. if you cheat, you'll likely cheat more often in the future.

well, but you know what sux. UC's checked up on my EC's...took me 12 trips to the office, 3 trips to Orange County (i live in los angeles), 2 days of waiting for verification mail from my boss, and so much going back and forth to get the information to prove my ec's are valid.
