Present for boyfriend?

So Christmas is coming up. I am terrible at buying people presents, especially guys. So I feel quite guilty that I have no idea what to buy my boyfriend. Anyone have any suggestions or ideas? I want to keep it under 200 or 300 euro. Thanks for any help. I need it badly. lol

I don't want to generalize too much, but I believe that us males don't really see material gifts as a symbol for affection or love. We like presents, but if you don't get us something we aren't offended or hurt in any way. At least that's how I feel about presents.

But if you really want to get him something...you should probably get something useful. Electronics are good (video games, music, DVDs, something of that sort).

Hah I bought my now-ex clothes. It wasn't anything frilly, just shirts with funny pictures on them. He was into humorous stuff.

id go for something that he can use. clothing might be a little motherish lol. maybe electronics/dvd's/music. wow, with 200 to 300 euros (230-350$) you can get an awful lot of dvds and music.

Does he have a PSP? A PSP and a game should be about 300 euro, and it does a lot of things at once.

I agree with electronics. You can't go wrong with some video games and DVDs. Do NOT buy him clothes. Pretty much everytime a girlfriend has tried to buy me clothes, it has been a disaster. Never let your girlfriend dress you, they think all guys should dress like they are gay.

A video Ipod is what most of my guy friends are dreaming of right now. I second the "no clothes" thing. Clothes are something you want from your grandma, not your gf. Unless its a North Face jacket or something, because every guy on the east coast wants one of those.

Yeah I was thinking more along the lines of a PSP or video iPod. I definitely wouldn't buy him clothes- he dressed pretty well without my help. lol. Thanks for the help.

haha "they think all guys should dress like they are gay" that kills me lol

Xbox 360!!!

yep my vote also goes to electronics/gadgets...

a box of condoms?

Ha ha ha...Next, gatordan, you might be suggesting that she might put a ribbon on herself. (Wow...that was highly inappropriate and I apologize if anybody is offended. This is just my way of saying that people should not suggest something like giving a box of condoms.) BTW, I third or fouth or xth the suggestion for electronics. All hail electronic gadgets and gizmos!!! :)

Sorry I'm stumped so no suggestion... bumping this thread since my bf's birthday is close to christmas and I don't know what to give either! He's not that into electronics..

pfft fine, I guess if you odn't like the condoms than lingere or gettting on the pill are out too...The bow isn't a terible idea, but the bow is unneccessary.

If you're looking for ACTUAL gifts, try CD's video games, clothes, books, food, jewlery, you know him better than we do.

cologne is always nice to recieve

if i found a big box in my living room and opened it to find my gf wearing a bow(and/or a santa hat :p) i have a hard time believing i'd be disappointed...memories last longer than materials afterall :)....

but actually....if your bf likes your taste in guy clothing....clothes won't be totally outta the picture....my gf...well ex-gf bought me a couple of shirts and such that i really liked....nothing really metrosexual, just casual.......

but electronics do work...300 euros?...new X-box wouldn't be a disappointment...i hear they're sick....but then again after college my video game fanatacism went down the drain

Haha gatordan. Nice one. I don't think condoms would be the best gift to receive. I think he can buy those himself. lol.

We generally have the same taste in clothing: shop at the same stores.

It's so tough to buy presents for other people. But it seems most guys like electronics.

your virginity. :)

just kidding. ;)

Yeah. I don't think that would work. lol. ;)
