<p>I was wondering what the average stats were for those who made semi finalist for this scholarhip.</p>

<p>Here are some of my stats:
SAT: 1300 (retook 10/14)</p>

<p>SAT2: Math2 780
Chem: 750</p>

<p>GPA: Weighted: 4.9
Unweighted: 3.96</p>

<p>Rank: 4/465</p>

<p>Extra Curriculars: Math Club(treasurer), National Honor Society(Treasurer), Academic Team, chemistry club, technology representative for school, racquet ball club, 75+ volunteer</p>

<p>Awards: School winner for AMC 10, Academic letter, top 100 club</p>

<p>Work: Computer related job 10 hours per week</p>

<p>Attened seminar for top engineering prospects at Purdue over the summer</p>

<p>Ive read that the award is based solely on merrit. If you guys could give me any insight I would really appreciate it.</p>

<p>Here's what I heard at CWT (but not from the administration): no one should get their hopes up. They interview 1/4 of those accepted for a PS, but then they only offer the PS to 1/4 of those who were interviewed. This causes 3/4 of the top of the acceptance class to be disappointed. Someone last year went through this process with a 1600 SAT and in the end wasn't offered the PS and ended up enrolling elsewhere.</p>
