Who do you think will be the nominees for each party and who will win. I'll go first.

Democrats
Hillary
Vice Kucinich (I wish Obama)

Republicans
McCain
Vice Romney (maybe)

The Winner: Hillary

What a JOKE. All your credibility goes out the window right there.

Hilary with Edwards vs. Mccain with Giuliani

Mccain wins, obviously :D

why?

lkhysdfjhgva

Kucinich is the definition of liberalism and naivete. He wanted to create a Dept. of Peace and cut military spending by at least 15% immediatly. There is no chance of him winning at all.

There is some talk of a Hillary-Obama ticket.
Then it would be a tossup between Hillary-Obama and McCain-Guilani, although I still think McCain would win.

i still think mccain is the GOP front runner however CNN's latest poll shows mayor giulani ahead. I think obama will get the nomination for the dems because hillary just has too many people who think negatively about her

Kucinich is the definition of liberalism and naivete.

bs

What about Howard Dean? YAWWWWW!

It's true, but that wasn't even what I was referring to. He has absolutely no chance to get on the ticket. The democrats are good at shooting themselves in the foot with candidate choices, but even they wouldn't commit that political suicide. What did he get in the 2004 democratic primary? 2% of the vote? How can you expect someone with 2% of the votes to get on the ballot. Yeah, he's a complete radical and will never get anywhere in the democratic party.

I like Guliani, but he might be too moderate for party line GOPers. It will probably be McCain with the GOP nomination maybe someone like Bill Frist as a running mate. The dems will throw out Billary and Osama, but someone like Richardson or Vilsak will end up winning the nomination, no clue on a running mate. Hilary will never win anything, because she is too wishy washy, and Obama will end up being exposed as weak during the primaries, as he doesn't stand for anything. My personal opinion is that this is McCain's race to lose.

PS As for Kucinich HAHAHAHA! This man is my congressman and used to be my mayor years ago, what a joke. I saw him last election walking down the street, and his wife is about a foot taller than him and way to skinny. How a man from Cleveland who is a vegan wins an election I will never know. I might run for Congress in 2010ish and would probably go out against this looney bin SOB. He will get the Hawaii vote though. LOL

Richard Lugar should get the GOP nom.

The reason why I put down Kucinich is that I personally like him but anyways,
A more realistic shot will probably be Vilsack or Richardson.

Its strange how many conservatives there are here on cc

"Its strange how many conservatives there are here on cc"

I agree that there are so many conservative posters/threads here. I'm not sure how anyone can be Republican with what's going on now between the war and everything else domestically (environment, economy, civil rights, etc.).

I am hoping for Hillary over McCain and I don't think Giuliani will get it for the Republicans (way too moderate for them).

My Republican dream team for '08: Donald Rumsfeld/Jeb Bush.

After Rummy's two kick-a$$ terms as commander-in-chief, VP Bush (like his old man & brother before him) can go onto the presidency. After his two terms, his son George P. Bush should be about ready for the White House.

I keed, I keed.

I'm serious about Jeb for VP, though.

Obama would make a great vp

I'm hoping for the Cheney/Satan ticket. That would be so frickin sweet.

don't be silly, the same person can't run for both President and VP

Guiliani would make such a good president...

I think that Clinton/Obama will win, though.

Clinton is one of those figures that will mobilize conservatives to come out to the polls in opposition. Conservative turnout will be massive if she runs...and she hasn't even garnered full support of democrats. Obama has potential in the future, but he is just too inexperienced. He can cross partisan lines, but I don't know if he is experienced enough in the field.

Hillary would be a travesty.

McCain and Guilliani are more centered on the political spectrum. They both have much experience in the field and in lawmaking. This is by far the winning ticket.

I agree with your position on Hillary and Obama.
McCain could appeal to the conservative base but Guillani - no. I'm putting Mitt Romney ahead of Guillani in terms of appeal to the conservative base in nominations.

Pity Mark Warner isn't running - now that would be very close
