<p>Hey guys, I'm crazy stoked cuz i just got accepted, but was wondering when we find out if we were accepted into the honors program or if we made it to the semifinal rounds of the presidential scholarship. I see nothing on buzzport about finaid other than the application guide button, and was wondering if since my acceptance letter said nothing about scholarships or the honors program, if that meant that i did not get either. Thanks</p>
<p>IIRC, and it was a while ago, the results of the Presidential scholarship came out in a separate correspondence from the acceptance.</p>

<p>My brother got in about 5 years ago. Back then they used to make personal phone calls in December to semifinalists. The dates have changed. They actually just went through a fairly big change in the structure of the program. Compared to when my brother got in, they now give out fewer, but higher value, spots.</p>

“Upon admission to Tech, students will be notified of their eligibility to apply for the Honors Program. An additional essay will be required at that time in order for a student to be considered. Applications will then be reviewed by the Honors Program Staff and invitations will be issued in early April.”</p>
<p>I wasn’t notified of honors with my acceptance, and nobody else has mentioned it yet (that I’ve seen). I’m hoping that this page just hasn’t been updated recently and that they’re doing honors later.</p>
