That's great but the link you posted was for the parade 4 years ago!

All my mid told me was that they were in the 6th Division, which is the last group.

THANKS LFWBdad, I had missed that...

Has anyone found a lineup online or heard of the time of the parade so I can record it?

Here is a map of the route:

Map: The Inauguration of Barack Obama, 44th President of the United States - washingtonpost.com

I can't find an updated parade lineup :(

I heard that HBO is carrying the live broadcast - which I don't get anymore. If anyone knows of other broadcasters that may be carrying the entire parade I'd love to know. Our son is also going down and I would love to see them.

suzannegra,
Loved the Washington Post map! My students had just completed a Time for Kids inauguration map activity, so I printed the pdf Washington Post map on a several sheets of photo paper and passed it around my classes. They found it very interesting.

I teach in one of the largest school districts in California and we have official authorization from our superintendent to watch two hours of the inauguration on the school district channel! This is a first because we have NEVER been allowed/encouraged to watch a presidential inauguration in every class, not just history/political science classes. I'm planning on using streaming video from the PBS website with my LCD projector. We're all very excited!

I saw in our local paper this morning that Comcast is going to show the We are One concert free on HBO to it's subscribers.

Did I count 16 Jumbotrons on the Washington Post map?

My S called - they are at the Naval Academy now where they will stay the night. I believe the Chesapeake Alumni Chapter is having a reception and dinner for them tonight and they get up at 4am to make way into DC for the parade. It should be a whirlwind 24 hours and one they will remember the rest of their lives.

Evergreen, Get a Life Bands ready to go - Columbian.com

"Several national broadcast and cable television networks plan live parade coverage. There also will be Internet live streaming options.

Perhaps the best unfiltered, complete coverage will be on the C-SPAN network (Direct TV channel 350, Comcast cable Channel 24), where commercial breaks won’t interrupt the flow."

Forrandeman, Thanks so much for the line up. Im watching the parade now on c-span and it's right on. Its so helpful to get an idea of when USMMA will be shown. My son is there. Im sooo excited !!

WOOT! WOOT! Lookin' GOOD!!!! How proud are we????? Just saw our Mids parading by the President. Awesome.

I soooo wanted to see them! AFN coverage really stinks sometimes. :(

OMG I can't believe it!!!! C-Span had the best coverage and I got to see a great picture of my oldest son marching in the reg (regimental) wedge. Bummer that I didn't get to see son #2 that was carrying a flag with the color guard.

I hope the wait was worth it for them. They sat on the buses from 8AM at the Pentagon and got off the buses around 4PM in DC.

What an unbelievable opportunity. Hopefully we'll hear from other parents of the mids that they showed the close ups of.

They looked awesome. Completely awesome. Hopefully we'll get some photos from the Mids when they get back???

momof2kpmids - nice!

I was on the parade route doen by the Navy Memorial. They looked great in person. It was great to see LFWB so locked on.

Well done, Mariners !
