How many University Fellows/Presidential Scholars are actually enrolling at HPU? D is a University Fellow and is deciding between HPU where she feels comfortable and larger school with longer standing reputation. Trying to determine if HPU did a good job of getting scholars to look, but not bite.

I know my daughter, her roommate, and one of the suitemates are all Presidential Scholars (not sure of the level of all of the awards). I also know that some of the people she met at the Presidential Scholarship weekend did not end up attending HPU. It seems that most of the people at HPU really want to attend HPU and the scholarship is just a plus - they would have attended even without a scholarship.

My son is a University Fellow and did bite - he’s made all the deposits, completed all of the required paperwork available to date (final transcript after graduation is the only one left) and has his Stafford loan ready to go. He’s so excited he wishes he could start today!

We sent in deposits, but have one more accepted student college visit at a very well known and highly regard university. My child is still leaning toward HPU, and we like the school, but the university has a lot more to offer academically and socially. 2 weeks before decision time.

Decision made. Attending a state university.

Anyone sign up for the registration stuff? Dates on June 25th/26th or July 12th?

Do you have to attend them?

Yes my D signed up for the July registration. June is already full. She had graduation anyway that weekend. You can register in Aug also but if can go early probably better to do so

I’m sure that would apply to transfer students also. It looks like I’ll be heading down to HPU in July.
