@ilovecake actually I read it on BC’s admissions site: “Letters of invitation to the candidates selected for Presidential Scholars Program interviews (PSP Weekend) will be mailed on Friday, December 18th via UPS Ground.”

Hey - relax folks… it takes like 5 days for UPS ground to get to California from Boston college (zip code 02459). Also it’s Christmas snail-mail time. Check out this map on the UPS web site: [Ground Time-in-Transit Maps](http://www.ups.com/maps/results)

Ivan, look at the UPS map link on p. 3 of this thread. Should reach my region in TX tomorrow (possibly Thurs. – I’m sort of on the border b/w 2 zones). Keeping my fingers crossed and saying a prayer. Even if it doesn’t come, I’m still thrilled with the honors invite. Good luck!

Remember too that the big snow storm may have screwed up deliveries especially along the east coast. It would have slowed transit down since this is coming via ground and not air. Here in Colorado, according to the map, the soonest we would see it is Christmas Eve, but given that we have a huge blizzard hitting us now that is supposed to last for 4 days, I would expect that too would add to delays. We are still hoping out here, and won’t give up hope until December 28th.

So today the UPS truck pulled in front of my house and I got super excited. I saw the guy run up to my house, throw something at my door, then drive off. I quickly went outside to find a small box - damn it! I ripped it open and found a bunch of Christmas cookies.

At least I can wallow in misery while eating an entire box of premium Xmas cookies…

Good luck to the rest of you that are waiting! I know I’m out because somebody who lives near me got their notice yesterday…

Looking through this thread for the SAT (CR and M) of Finalists, I came up with 1540, 1530, and 1460, for an average score of slightly above 1500. Of course, its not nearly accurate enough to state that correlation implies causation, but it is intriguing, if nothing else.
