Has anyone heard back from the Presidential Scholarship Program at CSU Fullerton? I've heard that some interviews have already taken place, so I'm a bit worried that I'm not going to be considered for the scholarship. I recieved the letter that I was accepted into the Honors Program a few days ago, but I still have not recieved any emails from Fullerton whatsoever, or anything from the Presidential Scholarship program. There was a problem with my email address in their data base, and I was told this issue was fixed, but I'm worried it wasn't since I haven't recieved one email from the college. I suppose I'm a bit worried that if this problem had not been resolved, that I missed the email for my interview, if I was offered one.

Anyone know anything about the interviews for the scholarship this year?

Oh, and I'm also wondering if I'm qualified compared to what CSU Fulerton looks when considering applicants for the Presidential Scholarship. My GPA for grades 10-12 was a weighted 4.33, my SAT score is 1970, I've been treasurer of both Drama Club and Performing Arts Club, Vice President/Publicity Manager of Future American Teachers Club, and Vice President of Undead Poets Society. As for volunteerism, I've volunteered at my local church with both media and children's ministires, helped tutor kids at a local elementary school, and have been a part of the Peer Leadership program at my high school that trains upper classmen to set a positive example for other students and create a positive school enviornment by listening to others and caring. My essay had to be on a word that describes my personality and how it relates to the person that I am. I chose the word "creative" and wrote about my passion for creativity and how I want to use my creativity to make people recognize the beauty in their own thoughts and ideas and have faith in their ability to change the world and redefine their own reality.

I feel like my application has two major down points: I was never involved with any student government like ASB or class offices, and I'm not in the running at my school to be a valedictorian.

So, yeah. My apologies for this novella of a post. I'm just really anxious about this. I know I'll end up where I'm supposed to, but I don't want to miss any opportunities along the way.
