<p>Anyone know how much the presidential scholarship is worth at manhattan college?</p>

<p>My GPA kind of sucks. Will I get a scholarship later on if I increase it this semester? I need to send in a final transcript at the end of this semester anyway. so I am wondering if it will help me.</p>

<p>I think they base it on your current gpa. MH is highly selective on merits. Top 25% of apps get pres. And they weigh SATs over gpa. My daughter has a 4.3 and only received 9k.</p>

<p>My daughter was accepted yesterday with a Presidential Scholarship. Engineering major. The response came in a small envelope with just a few sheets in it, nothing big, it almost looked like a rejection.</p>

<p>My D applied at the end of October, she received her letter on 12/22. They’re probably closed for the holidays and will send out the next wave of letters when they return.</p>

<p>Does anyone know if all Presidential Scholarship awards (at Manhattan College) are for the same amount each year?</p>

<p>I got the Chancellors Award for $7,500. Does anyone know if this is a prestigious award or if a lot of people get it?</p>

<p>My D received the Dean’s award for $12,500. According to website this is awarded to top 25% of applicant pool. Not sure how much more $$ Presidential is (top 15%)</p>
