Presidential Scholarship?

Hello!

I'm in state and just got confirmed acceptances to NB SAS and business at RU, still waiting on Pharm.

anyway i was wondering if anybody at RU/who knows a lot of RU people could tell me what scholarship i could probably get?

i've looked at their site's page about scholarships already, and i know that for Presidential Scholarship (full ride) you need above 2250 on SAT and an A average. I have a 3.66 UW GPA (about 91-92 on a 100 pt scale) which is about an A- for most places I think. would the fact that it's an A-, not an A average matter? For reference, I got a 2390 on the SAT, and I am also a National Merit Semifinalist (hoping my SAT score nets me Finalist status but i find that out in January).

I'm hoping my high SAT score would balance out the fact that I have an A- instead of A average but i don't know how strict they are about that. Does anybody know? And if i'm not likely to get presidential scholarship, what scholarships do you think they might give me instead?

also does anyone know when exactly we find out about merit aid/financial aid? i've heard it's in jan/feb but is there an exact date or time of month or something that they usually release that info?

thanks!

bumpppity bump bump :]

Merit aid typically comes out mid-Dec

If you don’t get the presidential you more or less get the shaft (I would know lol) The other merit scholarship is 2500-7500 and I’ve never met anyone who got the 7500, still instate tuition and grants/scholarships/workstudy go a long way.

Anyway for the presidential you might have a chance, fingers crossed!
