<p>That’s too bad! It would have been awesome to know someone. Where are you from? I’m from Michigan and I’m interested in majoring in chemical/biomedical engineering and Chinese.</p>
<p>I’m literally like around the corner from UB hahaha. I wanna do pre-med stuff but honestly I’m not really that interested in UB…just too close to home, ya know? Haha but if I got the scholarship I guess I’d consider it haha</p>
<p>Does anybody know if the interviewer is a faculty member or an admissions counselor?</p>

<p>So what did you guys think of the interview/tour? I really enjoyed it and thought the interview was comfortable and relaxed.</p>

<p>Hard to say…I’m waiting on acceptances/scholarships from other schools too but I think it’s likely that I would go if I got accepted. What other schools are you looking at right now?</p>

and a lot of other colleges, like you. You should post on here when you hear something from UB…or anywhere else that you want to. Who knows, maybe we’ll end up being classmates ;)</p>

<p>^^^Congrats! My dtr is a 3rd yr ChemE major there as a Presidential Scholar she also was accepted to Cornell but choose UB and is very happy there.</p>

<p>My son also made presidential scholar. We are in the Buffalo area but he also applied to Cornell and a bunch of other places including Stoneybrook (accepted), u of Mich (accepted, honors program), u of Rochester ( accepted)
He is planning on going into physics.
We are all very relieved to have something so good in hand.</p>
<p>Yes, it definitely is very nice to have this scholarship. (: Does your son think he will go to UB? I applied to Cornell and UMich (accepted, engineering) and many other places too but I’m strongly considering going to Buffalo now!</p>
<p>Funny, he also applied to Cornell, u mich (got in honors program, stoneybrook(accepted), u of Rochester (accepted), still waiting on cornell, Columbia, case western, MIT (deferred) and Harvard. </p>
<p>He doesn’t want to fill out any more scholarship apps so its unlikely we could afford to send him anywhere else if he got accepted. </p>
<p>He is at UB right now with his cousin staying overnight and attended three classes yesterday. Most likely, he will go to UB. </p>
<p>Congrats on the scholarship. To come away from undergrad with no debt is huge,huge gift ( as I’m sure you know).</p>
