Presidential Scholarships

Can someone PLEASE tell me which schools offer presidential scholarships for academics. My GPA is 4.0 (4.415 weighted) and I have an SAT of 1950 (1270 math/reading). I plan on retaking the SAT in October and the ACT in September.

So which schools offer presidential scholarships, or scholarships of equal monetary value? For example, I know Alabama provides a presidential scholarship for a 3.5 GPA and SAT of at least 1400.

Thank you!

There is no universal presidential scholarship. Many schools that offer merit will call the top merit “presidential.”

Do you know such schools that offer merit similar to Alabama though? It is to my understanding that at Bama, as long as you meet those requirements, you get the scholarship. No interview, no special talent required.

Here is the all to common referral to the http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/financial-aid-scholarships/848226-important-links-automatic-guaranteed-merit-scholarships-11.html</a> . Most colleges however hide their requirements under PR speak so they might well have SAT/ACT/GPA-only based scholarships of which no one knows the requirements. Also, check common data set stats (search college name/ common data set on google) for colleges that have large merit budgets per capita and low average scores (usually these are the unpopular state schools (not like Rutgers) that CC loves to ignore due to elitism).

Was just about to post above link.

I see all kinds of posts about all kinds of schools and do not find cc to be “elitism”. Find that to be a very unfair generalization.
