<p>If anyone has had any experience with these scholarships, please chime in! I'm a rising HS senior, and I won't be able to afford LMU unless I get significant merit aid in the form of one of these scholarships, and I'm worried that I don't stand a competitive chance. Thank you so much!</p>

Member of Best Buddies (providing companionship for our school's disabled students) since freshman year
Peer volunteer tutor for math, science, English, history, and Spanish since freshman year
Summer intern at local pharmacy since sophomore year.</p>

<p>I think you look like strong candidate for any of LMU’s major scholarships, all of your volunteer work should go over especially well because the Jesuits believe service is a crucial part of life (although inexplicably on their CDS they claim that it is not considered). Write a fantastic essay, and I think you’ll definitely be a top contender :slight_smile: Good luck!</p>
