Mine still says In Process...
Is it not supposed to?

Edit: Never mind. Says complete now.

Got an email today saying I was accepted an a PSP semifinalist. It said that they mailed my packet today.

To those not accepted yet as PS Semifinalists:

By applying before Oct 1st, you get two rounds at the scholarship. If you weren't offered a spot as a semifinalist in the first round (you would find out now if your were), then you have the opportunity again with the regular group (Oct 31st). Don't give up hope, you may get a letter in a few weeks.

what if it said "in progress" until today, that it finally changed to "application complete"?

My daughter received her notification in the mail today. She is so excited to be accepted into Georgia Tech and to be a semi-finalist! She mailed her application in mid October.

If I still didn't get my PSP Semifinalist notification in the mail or in e-mail, and my friend who lives in my neighborhood already got his in the mail about a week ago (I applied around Oct. 26th and he applied around Oct 28th), should I just give up all hopes of getting semifinalist?

I thought my stats would get me it but who knows...

I got a thick envelope as well (!!! yay), but it didn't say anything about the PSP. I know that means I'm not a semifinalist, but congrats to everyone who was chosen as one, and I can't wait to meet some of you [geniuses] next year!

And Zebes, your daughter-- WOW!

wait, you can be accepted but not be a semi??

i thought you can only be accepted this year (remainder of 2008) if youre selected as a semi?

SR- that's what I thought as well, but I got my acceptance packet on November 5th, and it didn't say anything about the PSP.

They have been accepting about 4 times as many people as make SF...

oh okay. its better to get notified earlier i guess. does anyone know if they compare you with the rest of the applicants who applied from the same school as you?? cause im know im the dumbest one who applied.

Btw is there any kids posting on this? Seems mainly to be parents.....

Anyhow, I received the letter for PSP pretty early in October.
So... Stats, I will update latter if any one interested.
