Did anyone else receive their letter from ACT asking them to issue a press release today?

Of people who have received these in the past: did you use the press release?

The idea seems weird to me, but I'm not sure if it's a normal thing to do or not...

I have never even heard of this before.

That’s the only other post on CC I could find about it. I was just surprised to receive a letter, I simply assumed they gave you your scores and that was that. The fact that no one has heard about it makes me think, as I assumed, it is not normal to do the press release thing.

Oh, I see. So they want you to notify the press since you scored perfect. Well, if I scored a 36 I wouldn’t care if other people knew about it. Except for colleges of course.

I didn’t receive one of these for either the SAT or the ACT; I didn’t know that this was done.

I only received mine from the April ACT a few days ago, silverturtle. Yours will probably come in a month or so.

I received mine a couple days ago.
