Pressure during test

I find it difficult to deal with nervousness while taking the SAT, and I think it might be hurting my scores. Does anyone have any advice for handling in-test stress? I've recently received my Question and Answer Service report in the mail for my 2020 SAT (650cr, 610m, 760w). I'd miss a slew of questions early on in my M and CR sections (like questions 6,7,8,9) but did well at the end.

I also have OCD. Is it against the rules to take medication like Zoloft for the test? I've never taken it before, but my doctor has recommended it.

why would that be against the rules if it were prescribed?

yea what a dumbass

***. That was harsh. It's an honest question.

agaisnt the rules like who the hell will kno do they drug test you at ur center

Some of us have a "conscience," you know.
I could never take the SAT on ADD drugs because i'd feel like I cheated.

dude thats way too messed up

It isn't really cheating...that's like saying that if you take medicine, you're cheating life...it's the same thing...

lol am I cheating life b/c I take medication to keep me up during the day b/c I have narcolepsy? If not my life would suck because then I wouldn't be able to drive or eat soup lol for fear of drowning.

i take add meds because i acutally have add (hence i am on CC all the time going off on tangents when i should be doing work...). that doesnt make me a cheater and i hate when ppl act like it does. its just bc so many ppl who ARENT diagnosed take the meds. (totoboyo do you take adderall for narcolepsy? it keeps me up all night!)

haha during my SATS i guess everyone in the room was having major sinus problems, and during one of the sections i suddenly lost focus on the test and started listening to all the sniffs throughout the classroom (it was literally continuous for the entire 20 minutes), couldnt regain focus, then started to laugh. it wasnt good.

dude everyhting in life isnt about cheating get over this test and into the real world where people cheat and steal.everything isnt always fair as a collegeboard rule book

Oh man. Pressure during the test. Want to hear the worst thing evereverever?!

So I get my Q&A back. I have 2 grid-in questions wrong. 15 & 16. I don't think anything of it, I'm like darn. I had to run out of the house when my mom showed it to me, it must have been a friday night or something.

So she calls me on my cellphone and tells me she thinks I made a bubbling error. When I get home, I see that I didn't get either 15 OR 16 wrong... I just bubbled them in backwards.

Naturally I was upset. But I was double upset because during the SAT I was doing one of my grammar sections, and I skipped a bubble. (As in I was bubbling the answer for # 7 in line 6, and so on.) I didn't catch it until I was all the way at #28. So I had to go back and rebubble my entire sheet. Like, twice.

Now maybe I'm just crazy but the bubbling aspect of the test makes me nervous. I always seem to mess up somehow and even when I check it, I somehow manage to screw up. THAT makes me nervous.
