<p>Hi, I'm a senior, and was recently accepted to Columbia University. I'm thinking about what I would like to do this summer, and looking for any prestigious programs, including classes, study abroads, research, internships, etc. Preferably not too expensive, maybe including a scholarship. If I don't find anything, I will probably get a local job to help pay for college.
Does anyone have suggestions?

<p>Why do you care about prestigious at this point? You are accepted to an excellent college… this is one summer where you can do something that is more what you want or need (earning money) to do. There are very few times in your life when you can do that.</p>
<p>Can you be more specific about your area of study? There are opportunities out there, but by the time you are graduating from HS, the programs are quite focused by area of interest.</p>
