Prestigious universities that do not require the SATIIs?

I decided not to take my SAT IIs because I did so bad on my practice tests (550,590,580). However, I did do quite well on my SAT I.

I was wondering if anyone could recommend some prestigious schools that do not require the SAT IIs for admission?

I tried looking around and the only ones I find were Northwestern and Stanford.

Thank you so much for any help!

wash u at st louis

add the great Universtiy of Chicago

What's the definition of "prestigious"?

Vandy?

I could have made that up....

Beware of not submitting SAT II's to schools that highly reccomend them, especially at schools where there's a tiny window of acceptance, like Stanford.

Emory. If your SATs are good, they can help you. If not or if you don't submit them, then it won't hurt you or make much of a negative difference. They're not required at all though.

Of the top 30 "National Universities" listed in USNews, the following do not require SAT II's: UChicago, Northwestern (except for some special programs), Stanford, Wash U St Louis, Vanderbilt (except after admission, some are required for placement), North Carolina, Emory, USC, Wake Forest, Notre Dame, Mich. Also, if you happen to take the ACT, the following in that top 30 list will take it in lieu of both the SAT and SAT II's: Yale, Penn, Brown, Johns Hopkins, Duke, Tufts.
