Pretending like I never took the SAT

So I took the SAT reasoning three times

First time i got a score not even worth mentioning
Second time I got 710/760/790 (Cr,Math,Wr)
Third time I got 700/800/580 (Cr, Math, Wr)

Would it be better if I just not even send the 3rd one??
Its only a 40 point difference and I don't want colleges to see the 580 on writing:something I have NO idea how i pulled off.
I feel really horrible right now...What was I thinking when I registered for 3rd one lol....
What would you do ?!

I know vast majority claim to superscore, but the 580 is scary low. The 2260 is in top 1% of all test takers. Unless applying to a school that requires all scores sent, I’d only send the 2260.

There are a number of colleges that require you to send all scores (even the test for which you have not mentioned the scores), and thus for those colleges you need to send all scores. For others you can choose to send which ever test you want but (a) majority of colleges superscore, meaning they use the highest section scores from multiple tests and thus it is to your advantage to send both the scores you mention; (b) there are many colleges, probably still the majority, that don’t use the writing section for admission, meaning that your third SAT is actually higher than your second. In other words, you will usually be better off sending both. All such colleges proclaim they do not hold those lower scores against you and thus you can either believe them or instead believe they are scumbag liars in which case you need to ask yourself why you are even applying to such colleges if they are dishonest.

What test (date) was the third one? Was it this november?

Why would you retake with a 2260?
