Pretty Campuses

What are some schools that just have really nice campuses? I know this is an opinion question but just out of curiosity what are some nice campuses anywhere in the U.S? Thanks

I find Yale’s and Princeton’s campuses really pretty.

University of Alabama. IU - Bloomington - Vanderbilt (gorgeous) . . . there are many more. These are just campuses that I have seen personally.

Miami University, Oxford, OH.

Wofford College, Spartanburg SC, Furman , Greenville SC and College of Charleston, Charleston SC

Penn State UP is gorgeous in the summer…everything’s so green. And once it snows it’s pretty again. It’s just the in-between dead-trees time that I don’t like. :stuck_out_tongue:

(U)Penn also has a really pretty campus. I like the “park” look.

Omitted from post 1: Michigan.

Some other really nice campuses: Cornell, Princeton, Colgate, St. Lawrence, Reed.

University of Richmond is really nice

As a suggestion for when you visit schools yourself, view them in terms of what you might prefer as it relates to scale. Some colleges may be grand, others unpretentious. Both styles can be beautiful, though one may seem more suitable for you.

Mills College, California

Marwencol is beautiful.

USC California

University of the Pacific.

Lewis & Clark

There have been plenty of gorgeous campuses we’ve been to. The absolute prettiest one in our opinion is Virginia Tech - very impressive looking.

Notre Dame for just in your face awesomeness
Colgate for OMG campus on a hill
St. Bonaventure for Thomas Merton taught here and its expansive riverside campus.
St. Anslem for its double quad and iconic main building
William & Mary for a living antique
Yale for a real oasis in a really ugly small city
Bates for how to build new buildings with amazing taste and its to die for interfaith chapel
Middlebury for the grey stone buildings against autumn leaves

Ole Miss, Lewis & Clark, University of Miami are some of my favorites.

Miami University (Oxford, OH) and UNC-Chapel Hill come to mind.

If you google “prettiest college campuses” you’ll find a lot of lists already made up.
