Just wondering if there are any other colleges that have such a beautiful library as Vassar's? It looks like its straight out of Hogwarts. I feel like that type of library would make me want to go and study haha

UCSD wins again. :)

The walls of the library of Loyola Chicago are glass and they look out onto Lake Michigan. The library is ON Lake Michigan.

Check out University of Chicago, Harper Library. It is Hogwart-like.

Duke has a couple of very nice, gothic-style libraries (Bostock and Perkins). UNC-Chapel Hill also has a picturesque old-southern style library (Davis) that is beautiful on the inside as well.

Davis has an excellent collection, but calling it picturesque is a stretch of the imagination by any definition. The decor belongs in the 70s, and the architecture would fit in at NC State. Wilson is far superior, in my opinion.

No thread would be complete without mention of the new Barret library at Rhodes. It’s absolutely gorgeous, inside and out.

I don’t like the pictures in the above link. Anyways if you want to have a look, here are some pictures. Duke Library is like a long strip of buildings.
