<p>As to the Ole Miss/UA discussion, I’d advise future applicants to keep an open mind instead of writing things off based on hearsay. I don’t know of incidents that have threatened safety and personally put more stock in those that actually attend them, and the administration that has been quick to punish incidents that do come up.</p>
<p>After all, if both universities were really that racist, I doubt that that students at both would have been able to conduct a peaceful protest for Ferguson, but they did. 
I digress, to each their own.</p>
