I know that colleges will see your scores (unless you've cancelled, of course), but I've heard that you can "hold" some of them, preventing colleges from being able to see them. True or false?

True the way to do this is detailed on the website and you need to follow date windows.

what website? Collegeboard? Is there a way I can hold back my SAT II scores from being seen and simply take them over, sending the new ones?

Collegeboard says:

All available scores will be sent, including those from previous test administrations. You cannot send only your latest or highest SAT Reasoning Test scores, or separate scores for critical reading or math or writing, or only SAT Reasoning Test or only SAT Subject Tests scores.

Are you looking somewhere else? Is there a loophole?

YES ..... score cancel is what you need to look at.

=/
Oh. My USHistory was from October and now it's def. too late to cancel, lol.

I somehow managed a 540 on the Math 2 C. Everything that could have gone wrong did on that test. I'm trying to find out a way I can prevent it from being sent, as I will probably take it over (and most definitely get a higher score) in December.

:( I got a 570 on my US History. I felt like I studied all the wrong things. :( I'm planning on retaking in January, but my school does USHistory 1 and 2 during the first two years of high school- and right now, I'm in my first year of World History. I know it can't be too bad, but I feel like I've already forgotten a lot of US History! :(

Its really too late now to seek advice. You should have made sure to rank your strengthes and take the easiest ones first. Then keep going down until your hardest one. Take 1 SATII at a time. That way you can space things out and if you bomb one you only have to cancel one score. Not to mention your harder ones will be at like October and November. If you are not sure you bombed it send the score. Collegeboard gives each college a tape everyweek. They will not update your score unless you request it and pay.
