Has anyone taken the assessment preparation tests in order to attend Preview? If so, how were the preparation tests, and what should I expect for calc. and chem.

I am waiting until I finish most of the content of my Pre Calc class so I can have more knowledge, as well as with my Chem class. People say that the Calc Test is just mere Pre Calculus.

the calculus stuff was pretty easy, i believe. i didn’t have to take chemistry.

It was a couple years ago that I took them, but I found it all rudimentary. I got perfect scores on both of them. Honestly if you can’t do them, you shouldn’t place out of the intro classes anyway, because they test pretty basic knowledge.

After reading, it seems that one does not have to pass the assessment test if one has an AP credit in that subject. So, if I pass the BC exam, I wouldn’t have to worry/take the assessment test for calc.

Here is my source: [Office of the University Registrar](http://www.registrar.ufl.edu/catalog/policies/advisingplacement.html#calc)

Yea, there’s lots of ways to place out, I placed into calc 2, but took the calc test just to make sure I was ready. Only having a one year class in chem my sophomore year in highschool I was able to ace the chem readiness. They’re really simple.

Assessment tests are only mandatory if one will take the course in respect to that subject, correct?

If you guys want to study

thanks, but I won’t have to take the calc. assessment test since I already have the AP credit.

Good for you, but still there are other people that have to take the Assessment, you are not the only incoming freshmen to UF.

I didn’t know that there was preview preparation besides confirming with UF that you are going to attend and filling out immunizations. What else are we supposed to do to prepare?

Go here: http://www.preview.ufl.edu/prep

basically is just to report AP scores, holds, etc.

how do you sign up for a preview date?
