<p>For those of you who are going to be attending Preview Weekend and are planning on going through formal recruitment in August I wanted to share a bit of advice.
When you register your name can and in some cases will be available to the sororities on campus (especially if you are trying to secure invites to the invitation only events). One of the first things the sororities do is check out your social media. They will look for you on Facebook, twitter and any other social media. It is in your best interest to make sure that there is NOTHING…anywhere that can be interpreted as negative. Rule of thumb…if you do not want your grandmother to see it or read it then don’t put it out there.
I have spent Christmas break watching sorority members “search” girls…ladies…I was shocked at some of the pictures and tweets they found!!! So if you haven’t already done it do it today…</p>
