<p>Vision weekend is a recruiting weekend for URM’s (underrepresented minorities).</p>
<p>Not sure what preview weekend is.</p>

<p>I read this post in vision weekend 2011 and it mentioned a preview weekend</p>
<p>“Hi. My S attended Vision two years ago and I think his experience at the weekend led to his choosing Rice. I was wondering where the posters are from that received the invitation? M D has applied as well and I hope she gets invited to Vision, although she attended Preview Days in the fall (expense paid trip). Hoping it comes in the mail soon. My S loves Rice and congratulations on your invitiations!”</p>
<p>We had two Explore Rice days in the fall. Perhaps that’s what it was referring to? It’s only expenses paid for a small, select group of URM students.</p>

<p>Oh ok. But yeah, they are visitation programs for URM’s that are all expenses paid. Seems like a fun time (from what I saw when they passed by on campus).</p>
<p>I’m more of an ORM than a URM, so I did not experience it firsthand.</p>
